Tambola is a simple multiplayer game. We designed it so you can play without creating an account, and we collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• The name you type when you create or join a game. It is shown to the other players in that game only. It can be a nickname.
• Game data: the game code, your tickets, the numbers called and the marks you make. This lives in the game server's memory only while the game is running and is deleted automatically within a few hours of the game ending.
• Technical data that any web server or app receives, such as your IP address and browser or device type, used only to deliver the game and keep the service working.

We do not ask for your email address, phone number, contacts, location or photos, and we do not create user accounts.

Stored on your device

The app remembers your settings (text size, voice, vibration, high contrast), your last name used and the code of your last game so you can rejoin it. This stays on your phone or in your browser and is never sent anywhere except the game server when you rejoin.

Advertising

The service is free and supported by a small banner advertisement shown below the game area. The website uses Google AdSense and the Android app uses Google AdMob. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites or apps. You can control personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads, and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Children

The game is intended for adults and families playing together. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your information with anyone except the advertising partners named above, and only as described there. When you share a game code on WhatsApp or another app, that happens through that app under its own policy.

Security and retention

The connection between your device and the game server is encrypted (HTTPS). Game data is kept only in memory for the duration of a game and is not written to a database.

Your choices

You can clear everything the app stores on your device by clearing the app's data or your browser's site data for tambolapro.com. Because we keep no accounts, there is nothing else to delete.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
